Safety of Repeat Administration of FX006 to Patients with Knee Osteoarthritis

The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the overall safety and general tolerability of repeat administration of an investigational steroid injection (FX006) in patients with osteoarthritis of the knee.
Participants will be asked to complete up to 15 study visits over the course of one year at the Duke Center for Living campus. All participants receive one FX006 steroid injection at the baseline study visit and a second injection will be administered if specific criteria are met between the Week 12 – Week 24 study visits. Study volunteers will be compensated for their time.
Participants may qualify if:
- Older than 40 years of age
- Symptoms of knee osteoarthritis for ≥ 6 months
- BMI is ≤ 40.0
- Knee pain for more than 15 days over the last month
