During the 2019 Osteoarthritis Research Society International (OARSI) world congress meeting, DMPI faculty member Virginia Kraus received the lifetime achievement award. This award honors a person who has devoted much of their career to the advancement of the science associated with osteoarthritis.
OARSI is the premier international organization for scientists and health care professionals focused on the prevention and treatment of osteoarthritis through the promotion and presentation of research, education and the worldwide dissemination of new knowledge.
