In this hybrid learning experience we will show you how to perform RNA-seq analysis in R. RNA-seq is a popular technique for measuring global gene expression and is used for a wide range of purposes, such as trying to understand the mechanism of action of a particular drug or identifying which cell signaling pathways are associated with a given disease. Beginning with count data, we will demonstrate how to perform differential expression analysis, produce informative plots, and perform enrichment analyses. While a familiarity with RNA-seq and the R programming language would be helpful, all who are interested are welcome. This session will be livestreamed on the new Center for Computational Thinking YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCN-OX45aSM1VtXkzocx8Ppg
