Each academic year, the Endocrine Fellows Foundation (EFF) awards a maximum of 18 research grants. Grants are reviewed by endocrinologists across the country, with decisions based on the quality and potential value of the proposed research, the applicant's experience and enthusiasm, the institution, and the mentor.
Dr. Amro Ilaiwy is an Endocrine Fellow working with DMPI faculty members Jon Campbell, David D'Alessio, and the DMPI Metabolomics Lab. His research project, Beyond Diabetic Glucosuria - Changes of Urine Metabolome Associated with Dapagliflozin in Gsa Deficient Mouse Model of Diabetes Compared to Healthy Mice, was awarded a one year $5,000 grant from the EFF.
Congratulations Amro!
