MGC Digital Immunoassay Biomarker Detection

Quanterix’s fully automated, ultra-sensitive, bead-based Simoa® digital biomarker detection assay quantifies the concentration of biomarkers in plasma, serum, and CSF at femtomolar levels for most analytes.

Specifically binding paramagnetic particles coupled with antibodies are added to samples alongside fluorescent detection antibodies to form an immunohistocomplex. Each immunohistocomplex contains a bead with up to one bound protein, and a detection antibody.

Samples are loaded into arrays on the Simoa disc, and a chemiluminescent substrate is added. Imaging then produces a map of the array to allow digital analysis of each well and determination target molecule concentration.

Input:

  • Plasma, serum, CSF
  • Up to 34 samples/assay kit
  • Up to 3 plates/run
  • Input volume dependent on assay type
